Legal Assistant - Direct Hire

Beacon Hill Legal is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a small law firm based in Sterling Heights, MI. The Legal Assistant will support one attorney with a busy personal injury and disability practice. The working hours of this position are 8:30am - 5:00pm. Duties include, but aren't limited to:

• Scheduling meetings and court dates and maintaining attorney's calendar;
• Preparing correspondence and other documents;
• E-filing pleadings in various state and federal courts;
• Managing attorney travel as needed;
• Communicating with clients regarding case status and updates;
• And more!

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience as a legal assistant in a law firm setting
• Must be a team player and have the willingness to wear multiple hats!
