What you'll do...

The Manager, Sourcing Innovation and Surety Governance will help build a culture of innovation and surety of supply within Walmart Inc by enabling the Sourcing Innovation project portfolio, owning Sourcing Innovation event strategy, and supporting strategic projects across the Surety of Supply team. Ideal candidates will be an insatiably curious, creative problem-solvers with high attention to detail.

About Walmart Surety of Supply and Sourcing Innovation:

The Surety of Supply team accelerates and scales Walmart's efforts to build supply resilience for key categories. We work across all product categories and segments of Walmart Inc. in close collaboration with merchants and Sourcing Managers as well as teams in Private Brands, sustainability, technology, manufacturing, and beyond. We push the envelope by building partnerships with startups and integrate cutting edge solutions into Walmart's Sourcing capabilities.

What you'll do:

• Enable a dynamic and growing portfolio of innovation pilot projects
• Lead capacity building, process improvement, and ways-of-working evolutions with your peers and beyond
• Build reports, presentations, and other tracking/reporting tools to communicate business status and progress with internal and external executive stakeholders
• Manage project-based work independently, demonstrating a high level of initiative and follow through
• Generate analysis and insights from complex data
• Demonstrate inclusive leadership that enhances belonging in the organization

• Retail industry knowledge, specifically in sourcing and merchandising.
• A track record of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners.
• Experience establishing new and efficient processes.
• Comfort storytelling with large amounts of data.

Desired Experience

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 4+ years' experience in retail, manufacturing or sourcing industry.
• A curious mindset and interest to solve problems.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain or related area.
3 years' experience in sourcing.
Bilingual in English and one or more language used to transact business in assigned country.
Project Management certification.
