This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

The pay for this position starts at $20.70/hr. with a shift increase for second shift.

Job Description:

• Be capable of learning product codes, know where product belongs and keep pre-blend cooler organized.
  
• Must operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport raw product to and from coolers and production areas.
  
• Responsible for weighing and recording of weight of finished ground product.
  
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Job Requirements:

• Ability to move from one area of production to another.
  
• Ability to lift and carry 60 pounds.
  
• Regularly required to stand, stoop, bend, climb ladders, change work levels, twist, and squat, climb stairs, reach, push, pull and move about the facility.
  
• Must be able to read explicit simple instructions and do required paperwork.
  
• Ability to visually inspect product.
  
• Ability to work in extremely cold temperatures.
  
• Must wear necessary safety equipment, etc.
  

Qualifications: Must have at least 3 months of operator experiencedocumented in the work history section of the application (can be a combination of employers as long as it is at least 3 months).

• Candidates who have worked 3 or more times with Tyson Foods will not be considered.
• Rehires will have a waiting period of 180 days before they will be considered for a position at this facility.
