Job Purpose
The main objective will be to order raw materials and packaging to optimize the balance between service - stock - cost for the Supply Chain of the Waukegan site.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and ordering of raw & packaging materials and finish goods, ensuring that the production plan can be executed.
- Review/ update production planners and manage material availability.
- Creation of purchase orders and inform production planning on timelines, taking into account capacity agreements and storage capacity on the site.
- Communication with GBS team about price changes and master data changes in ERP.
- Manage MRP exception messages.
- Drive gate keeping meetings with the other departments and support with providing relevant KPI's to measure performance.
- Reviewing with Supplier flexibility to support Material Planning
- Balance service level (OTIF) and inventory targets (OWC) of raw and pack materials, whilst understanding cost impacts on manufacturing.
- Manage reduction and prevention of slow and obsolete stock (raw & pack). Ensure rework, retest and scrapping at the site.
- Inputs to inventory strategy including safety stock settings on raw & pack materials for existing, new and phase-out products; also maintaining updated in ERP system.
- Support projects and process improvement to enhance performance and efficiency of the required material planning activities; also support on reporting where necessary.
Job Requirements
- Associate degree or two years higher education is required
- Fluent and able to work in English. Understanding and sensitivity to different cultural behaviours.
- SAP experience is preferred
- Experience in Logistics will be also valuable.

Rewards & BenefitsThe annual salary range for this position is $63,000.00 to $70,000.00. The position is eligible for an annual bonus of 4%, relocation assistance, and employee benefits that are effective the first day of employment.
