Job Description: Munters is seeking an experienced Engineer to help develop our next generation of advanced Data Center Cooling Products. This role requires a strong mechanical background, the ability to work with cross functional teams, and skill in 3D CAD.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Supports new product development with

1. Conceptual 3D models, drawings, and parts list , as needed.

2. Product testing support

3. Production process support for design related issues.

4. Independently selects parts and interacts with suppliers to reach project design goals

• Participates in Kaizen and other cross functional teams to improve designs
• Supports continuous improvement and cost reduction activities through ECO process

• Provides engineering expertise and/or support to other departments as needed.

• Assists in prototype builds to understand and improve the designs.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• 3D CAD
• Ability to work on large scale projects and provide comprehensive documentation
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to successfully plan work to meet deadlines
• Design for manufacturing ( DFM)

Requirements:

DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with HVAC components.
  • Proficient with Solidworks
  • Experience with designing sheet metal, piping, electrical, and assemblies
  • Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Degree
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience
