I'm excited to share that we have an opening for a Bilingual Receptionist at our Glendale office! We're looking for a full-time receptionist to join our team. Here are the key details about the position:
Key Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are strongly preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills, including de-escalation techniques and the ability to work well with children.
- Strong task prioritization and adaptability to changing policies and procedures.
- Ability to efficiently schedule client appointments and manage staff calendars.
- Experience in an office setting is preferred, but candidates with strong customer service backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Strong written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills.
Education Requirements:
- BA/BS in psychology, social work, or a related field, OR
- AA degree in a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, OR
- High school diploma with 4 years of related work experience in a mental health or non-profit agency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR) systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with DMH systems and procedures, as well as Integrated System and Medi-Cal billing.
- Prior receptionist experience is highly desirable.
Location: Glendale Office
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with potential for modified hours to cover late shifts on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Compensation: $20 - $24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
