RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Network Administrator in Redmond, WA.Summary:We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator with Azure experience to help manage and optimize our network infrastructure. As a team, we prioritize reliability, efficiency, and security in our operations. We aim to eliminate friction in our environment and believe that no project should be delayed due to lack of reliable infrastructure. We measure and monitor everything and have a culture of continuous reflection and improvement.Responsibilities:- Network Administrator will monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including Arista and Cisco Nexus Switches, and Palo Alto Firewalls
- Configure and manage Azure cloud resources to support network operations in a hybrid cloud deployment
- Perform regular network performance tuning, capacity planning, configuration changes, and firmware upgrades
- As a Network Administrator, you will develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, policies, and procedures
- Utilize scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate network configuration and monitoring tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in network administration and infrastructure management
- Experience with Azure networking services (e.g., Virtual Networks, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute)
- Ability to design, implement, and support network tools and services with a focus on security, scalability, and performance
- Understanding of networking protocols such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, IPv4, and BGP
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
- Comfortable with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build processes
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
- Experience with core Microsoft infrastructure (Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, IIS, DHCP, WDS, WSUS, Hyper-V, DFS)
- Experience with Containerization and Virtualization
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
