Position Description :The Department of Agricultural Sciences seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/non-tenured faculty to teach Agricultural Sciences courses.
Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester-by-semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and departmental/school need.
This posting is for the fall 2024, spring 2025, and summer 2024/2025 semesters. Please note that this posting is not intended to convey that such a need currently exists. Applicants applying for a pool faculty position will be available to the departmental search committee for consideration in case the need arises.
This position is subject to availability of funds.
Specific educational requirements vary by position, but a minimum of a master's degree or commensurate experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:Ph. D. in agricultural sciences, or equivalent professional experience, and/or prior teaching experience is preferred.
