Title: OSHA Education Center Administrator

Job Summary:

This position provides support for OSHA Safety and Health Instructors and staff by assisting with the management, coordination, and upkeep of curricula and related materials. The role focuses on maintaining and updating student materials, evaluating and selecting textbooks, exercises, and activities for incorporation into occupational safety and health courses. Additionally, the position ensures that OSHA educational programs meet federal and state regulations, supports instructors in integrating technology into the classroom, and manages general administrative functions, including data entry, report preparation, and business administration. This position also involves organizational management, program management, and project management to ensure the smooth operation and successful delivery of OSHA training programs. Effective project management skills will be essential for planning, executing, and evaluating initiatives to improve program outcomes and meet the needs of both instructors and students. This role requires an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and ensure that deadlines are met while maintaining a high level of quality and compliance with OSHA standards.

Job Duties:

Update and maintain instructor led presentations with current OSHA information, including updating sections of student materials/manuals and managing course related materials. Proofread and edit instructional materials as needed for consistency, accuracy, and quality. Assist with the upkeep and organization of the learning management system (LMS) collaborating with Center administrative support and instructors to ensure an intuitive system. Oversee certificate program completion and coordinate with program assistants for certificate awards. Assist with the administration of OSHA course pre-requisites, certificates, and other program related processes. Maintain and organize course-related data, ensuring accurate records of participant information, course completion, and other relevant details. Support the coordination of curriculum updates, ensuring that materials are current and meet the requirements of OSHA regulations. Assist with program evaluations, including course presenters, content, and methodologies. Promote OSHA and related safety and health offerings through the preparation of marketing material, business and industry visits, and other outreach activities. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Three years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field OR hold a current Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential.
Experience teaching Outreach Training Program classes (10- and 30-hour classes).
Experience teaching OSHA Training Institute Education Center classes.
Two years of experience in teaching adults in an academic or training environment.
Three years experience working with learning management systems.
Possess a current OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer Card.
Program management experience, including overseeing the administration of safety training programs and compliance.
Business administration skills, including budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting for training programs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must have experience using Learning Management Systems and MS Office - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
Must have experience in the use of a variety of instructional delivery modes.
Must possess strong communication skills, organizational skills, analytical skills, Microsoft Office skills, human relation skills, and a collaborative leadership style.

Pay Rate: $47,276 - $59,095 annual salary depending on experience
