Product Acceptance Specialist B

Contract Position

$31.43-$37.66/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive inspections, quality audits, and process reviews on aerospace products to ensure compliance with design and regulatory standards while supporting process improvements and non-conformance management.
• Conduct detailed inspections, audits, and quality checks to ensure first-pass quality and adherence to design requirements.
• Collaborate with teams, including the FSCC and Chronic Issues Team (CIT), to address and resolve chronic issues and enhance area performance.
• Identify, document, and control non-conforming items, initiating corrective actions for significant non-conformances.
• Conduct customer product reviews during product or process verification, ensuring satisfaction and quality standards.
• Use precision measuring tools (e.g., microwave, digital gauges) for inspection of composites, aluminum, and titanium parts.
• Support production control, including planning for work changes and shift turnover, and maintain certifications such as flight line badge and LOTTO.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and coordinate Lean/BPS improvement actions during weekly reviews.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED with at least 1 year of relevant experience; or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience:
  • 1+ years of experience with Velocity and production applications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical skills for problem-solving in a production environment.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent lifting up to 10 lbs., working at heights, and use of hand tools.
  • Physical ability for prolonged standing, bending, and exposure to sealants, metals, carbon fiber, adhesives, and solvents.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience working from heights and using fall protection equipment.
  • Proficiency in Non-Conformance Record (NCR) and Emergent Process Document (EPD) generation.
