Summary

We are looking for a Product Owner (Finance) to design & implement technology solutions that support business needs. This role is responsible for translating the vision & business requirements for each solution (the what) to the development team (the how) and plays a pivotal part of the entire IT product / systems development lifecycle. This role will also ensure that new solutions fit into the existing enterprise architecture from a technical, business & end user perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Decompose features into stories in alignment with the priorities for the Plan, Procure and Make functions from the Program Implement Planning Roadmap in a SAFe Agile Environment
  • Responsible for defining stories and prioritizing Team Backlog by business value or ROI to execute programs while maintaining integrity of the features
  • Responsible for defining and writing users stories, acceptance criteria (definition of done), acceptance testing and empowered to work with QA to accept stories as done
  • Manage the solution roadmap and backlog for one or more capabilities
  • Serves as the primary source for story detail and priorities during sprint planning meetings
  • Ensures User Stories completed by the team meet the Stakeholder requirements
  • Participate and contribute functional work as needed
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in Infor M3 application features
  • Assist the Business Solution Manager and Scrum Master to foster a collaborative team environment within and across teams, participates in all Scrum Ceremonies
  • Partner with the Team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information technology or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience working in software Product Development or functional business consultant
  • 5+ years of experience working with ERP preferably in Finance / cost accounting, AR/AP space
  • 5+ years of experience working with ERP ancillary systems such as AP OCR, AR Management Systems, EPM Systems, and/or GRC Systems
  • Strong communication, planning, critical thinking, and organizing skills required
  • Must be able to analyze data, solve problems, make decisions, remain open minded to alternative thinking and solutions and continuously improve
  • Extensive experience in translating customer requirements into Agile user stories
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and developing relationships with team members and customers
