Job Summary
Oldcastle Infrastructure is looking for a Production Engineer Intern. Interns will have the opportunity to apply your classroom-learned skills to track data, analyze processes, and recommend solutions for improvement based on the gathered data from our facilities.
This position is expected to start in-person around 2025 and continue through the entire spring term. We ask for a minimum of 10 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.
Job Responsibilities
- Define manufacturing process issues, collect data, analyze facts, implement solutions, and review as needed
- Documentation of new processes
- You will partner with and influence stakeholders across the organization, such as Operations, Product, and Technology address process related activities
- Troubleshooting and resolving operational issues to minimize downtime
Job Requirements - Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineer, Civil Engineering, Industrial Manufacturing or other related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering fundamentals and proficiency in Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast paced high stress environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and exemplary oral/written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Ability to write reports and analyze raw data
