Job Description:
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is looking for a passionate, collaborative, and detailed-oriented individual to join the Engineering team with emphasis in diverse professional level engineering design. Under administrative direction, this permanent fulltime supervisor position will be designing, planning, directing, and coordinating construction projects in State Recreation, Wildlife Management Areas, State Trails, and State Fish Hatcheries across the state.
JOB DUTIES:
•Designs, plans, directs, and reviews complex plans and specifications for construction and unique agency projects across the State of Nebraska.
•Provides professional engineering advice about technical/professional engineering services and presents technical information and proposals for higher-level management Issues.
•Performs construction observation, resolving technical problems.
•Approves final punch list and completion of construction or capital improvement projects.
•Maintains adequate records to sufficiently describe the work performed and to distribute such documentation as applicable.

Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and one year of experience performing professional level engineering assignments. Must possess a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license at the time of application and be licensed by the Nebraska Board of Engineers and Architects at time of employment or be able to obtain such license within 90 days of employment.
