ECS is seeking a Project Manager to work in our Arlington, VA office.

Job Description:

  • Use your experience in program and project management while leveraging agile principles.
  • Develop program management artifacts as needed (project charters, program/project plans, risk management plans, communication plans, business case analysis, and concept of operations).
  • Maintain responsibility and establish/maintain standards for these work products.
  • Lead and facilitate client meetings and exercises (requirement gathering, prioritization sessions, etc.).
  • Manage client delivery expectations and provide situational awareness, bi-directional status, feedback, and project updates to both the customer and the project teams.
  • Identify high value needs and develop resource plans on how to implement a solution.
  • Assist managing required efforts and resources for successful project implementation and completion.
  • Leverage Microsoft and Atlassian solutions (Teams, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, etc.) to manage projects.
  • Support the development of briefings, agendas, and other general documentation support as directed, including training material.
  • Establish and monitor schedules; identify resource needs and assign individual responsibilities.
  • Identify, analyze, and track risks, communicating statuses; escalate concerns when needed.
  • Identify and coordinate cross-team dependencies and collaboration.
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, develop and deepen long-lasting client relationships.
  • Build a knowledge base of each client's business, systems, and objectives.

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years' managing Agile teams and projects from inception to deployment.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Project Management or Agile certifications (PMP / ACP / CSM / SAFe / CISM).

Desired Skills:
  • 3+ years' experience working with a Federal Customer.
  • Experience in managing client requirements and small teams and strong client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and business presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with government programs and policy/procedures.
  • Strong client interfacing skills, a positive attitude, high self-motivation, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Active DHS clearance is a plus.
