Job Description:
My client is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead commercial and retail construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring successful project delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee commercial and retail construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Lead project teams and ensure effective communication among all stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure project specifications are met.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably with a focus on commercial and retail construction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
