Bo-Mac Contractors, LTD in the Beaumont, Texas area is offering challenging and exciting career opportunities for a Purchasing Agent. The Purchasing Agent is responsible for assisting the procurement of and the coordination of the delivery of equipment, material and supplies for the various operations of the Company in a timely and cost efficient manner.
The Purchasing Agent position can be very busy and requires strong organizational skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines. Because this position must exchange information with internal and external contacts on a daily basis, good verbal and written communication skills are extremely important. We utilize the latest information technology, and this position will require the skills to maximize the effectiveness of these devices. This position is assigned to an office environment where sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time is required. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds is required as well.
