As a recruiter, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and attracting talent for various positions including laborers, CDL drivers, equipment operators, and other roles related to road construction and quarry operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's growth by building a skilled and dedicated workforce.

Responsibilities:

• Candidate Sourcing:

Utilize job boards, social media platforms, and other relevant channels to actively source candidates for open positions.

• Candidate Engagement: Reach out to potential candidates who have applied via our website, conduct initial screenings, and schedule interviews with hiring managers.

• Networking:

Establish and maintain relationships with local technical schools, high schools, and vocational programs to promote career opportunities in road construction and quarry operations.

• Marketing and Promotion: Create and distribute marketing materials such as flyers, posts for social media, and advertisements to attract candidates and promote our job openings.

• Collaboration:

Work closely with recruiting team on staffing needs and collaborating on workforce planning.

• Candidate Assessment: Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate qualifications, skills, and fit for specific roles within the company.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, track candidate progress through the hiring process, and provide regular updates to management.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor practices, and recruitment best practices to continually improve recruitment strategies and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in the construction or related industry preferred but not required.

• Familiarity with sourcing techniques and tools such as job boards, social media platforms, and applicant tracking systems.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse candidates and stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• High school diploma required.

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
