Description:
We are hiring for a Regional Sales Manager Position with our Philadelphia food manufacturing client
*this position is partially in office with travel, some weekend work required*
Salary: - Between $90-110k depending on experience
Qualifications:
- Flexibility and ability to travel 50% of time
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food/beverage sales and account management or related industry and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Business Central a plus) and using cell phone regularly for emails/calls
- Personable demeanor and can-do attitude
Responsibilities:
- Maintain existing business Executing customer specific growth plans for existing accounts.
- Create comprehensive customer programs that meet customer needs.
- New business Development- Prospecting potential customers and turning them into new customers. Drive profitable growth.
- Create marketing budget and plan for each customer in your region, assess targets quarterly.
- Manage assigned broker reps in your region to facilitate new business opportunities and expand existing business.
- Facilitate customer rebates quarterly as necessary by account.
- Prepare physical booth elements for national trade shows, complete required forms and facilitate booth set up of regional and National trade shows for example IDDBA, NRA, NACS as well as regional customer meetings and Food Shows.
- Meet with customers quarterly, manage existing customer relationships.
- Represent company professionally and ethically
- Maintain knowledge of competition and identify new business opportunities
- Some weekend work required
