Duties: The Research Specialist will be involved with the study of Molecular biology and donor organ-specific exosome profiles from transplant recipient patients' blood/bodily fluids which can serve as a novel, non-invasive, accurate, and time-sensitive biomarker assay to monitor transplant organ rejection/injury. Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to, perform exosome isolation analysis, RNA profiling assays as well as data analysis. This position will also help assist in the care of the animals, tissue culture, and histology; coordinate the collection of human samples, clinic visits, patient consents, documentation and monitoring.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 0 to 1 year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Required skills include Molecular biology experience, basic animal handling skills, good organizational skills, experience with tissue culture and histology.
