Baer is looking for SAP Finance in the Public Cloud expert for a 9+ month project located in Malvern, PA.

Title: SAP Finance in the Public Cloud expert
Location: Hybrid - Malvern, PA
Duration: 9 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Finance processes in the Public Cloud environment.
• Utilize a "Fit to Standard" approach, ensuring alignment with pre-configured solutions available in SAP Public Cloud without extensive customization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Governance, Organizational Change Management, and Solutions Design, to ensure proper alignment of SAP Finance processes with overall business objectives.
• Analyze the client's existing financial processes and map them to SAP standard solutions, identifying gaps and working with stakeholders to either modify business processes or implement SAP standard practices.
• Participate in client workshops to facilitate discussions on finance processes, gather requirements, and guide decision-making.
• Ensure integration of SAP Finance modules (e.g., SAP FI, CO, AP, AR) with other key business areas like procurement and sales.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for tracking financial process performance during and after the implementation.
• Provide guidance on best practices for financial reporting, compliance, and audit requirements in a cloud-based SAP environment.
• Ensure seamless integration with other SAP cloud solutions and third-party applications to support the client's financial operations.
• Provide expertise in SAP Public Cloud finance solutions to support financial process optimization and ensure scalability of solutions.

Requirements:

• Senior-level SAP Finance expertise with experience in public cloud environments.
• Strong backround in SAP Finance modules such as SAP FI (Financial Accounting), CO (Controlling), AP (Accounts Payable), and AR (Accounts Receivable).
• Proven experience implementing SAP Finance solutions using a "Fit to Standard" approach, focusing on out-of-the-box configurations and minimizing customization.
• Prior experience in leading or participating in client workshops, specifically related to SAP Finance process design and decision-making.
• Strong analytical skills to assess current financial processes, identify gaps, and recommend SAP standard solutions.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing project deliverables and timelines.
• Familiarity with SAP Public Cloud architecture and the unique requirements of cloud-based SAP finance implementations.
• Experience with cloud integration between SAP Finance and other business processes (e.g., procurement, sales, etc.).
• 8+ years of SAP Finance experience, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of "Fit to Standard" methodologies and how they apply in a Public Cloud environment.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
