Senior Accountant

Ledgent Finance & Accounting has partnered with a global leader in revert management for the aerospace industry in the Hartford area seeking a Senior Accountant with strong cost experience.

Ideal candidate will have experience in financial accounting, inventory costing, and both internal and corporate-level reporting. This candidate will be an energetic self-starter with over five years of experience in accounting, sales/use tax, and costing within an industrial manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Inventory Team to address issues and reconcile balances.
• Support the month-end closing process by preparing and analyzing general ledger account reconciliations.
• Review bank reconciliations and support annual audit and tax compliance with documentation.
• Prepare sales and use tax documents, personal property reporting, and maintain fixed assets, including depreciation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5+ years of equivalent work experience in industrial manufacturing accounting.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamic 365 a

Salary: $80,000- $100,000
