The Role
As a Senior Engineer for Room Technology at Moderna, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and maintenance of audio-visual equipment used in meeting rooms, large conference rooms, and other venues in Moderna offices. You will work on projects related to room technology implementation, collaborate with vendors, and provide hands-on technical support to ensure reliable operation of these technologies globally. You will also assist in applying existing room technology standards.
Here's What You'll Do
- Implement and maintain meeting room and digital display technologies in Moderna offices globally.
- Assist in applying and adhering to standards for A/V technologies (e.g., Boardrooms, Meeting Rooms, Focus Rooms, Digital Signage) by collaborating with third-party A/V specialists and hardware vendors.
- Participate in process improvements regarding the deployment and usage of A/V technology to enhance user experience.
- Support the roadmap for the Meeting & Conference Room experience, including upgrades and version control.
- Assist with projects involving new office builds, device lifecycle management, and ensuring proper room technology deployment.
- Coordinate with Meetings platform teams to facilitate the deployment and maintenance of A/V technologies.
Here's What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of one to three years of experience working with audio-visual systems or IT-related technologies.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
