**This role isnoteligiblefor100% remotework. Employees must live within a commutable distance of the Bay Area and must be willing to be onsite at the client and/or Slalom office up to 5 days a week.**

What You'll Do

Our industry client leaders are closely engaged with their clients. They understand their client's strategies and objectives, environment, and industry. They proactively identify opportunities to help clients meet their objectives and to address challenges and constraints leveraging Slalom services and offerings. They are highly aware of the delivery work in which Slalom is engaged and work with the team to drive excellent delivery. As a leader in the market, the client partner is a constant ambassador of Slalom's core values and ensures we exemplify our values in our delivery and interactions with clients, recruits, and the overall market.

  • Drive for Results- Exhibit a relentless drive to realize goals and deliver excellent outcomes across complex engagements. Respond to critical escalated issues, resolve competing priorities, and drive alignment across teams. Maintain oversight of work and deliverables to ensure client value.
  • Industry Leadership- Demonstrate deep understanding of trends and value drivers in fintech, operating and emerging technology environment, and opportunities for transformation. Contribute to Slalom brand, knowledge capital, participate in key industry marketing efforts, and link current trends to fintech strategy.
  • Account Management - Lead development of client-centric account strategies and GTM plans. Oversee the financial health and P&L of the capital markets business, from a revenue and utilization goals perspective.
  • Relationship Management - Effectively connect and drive meaningful dialog with a CXO level audience, while also engaging at all levels of an organization. Inspire trust and address client's priorities with speed and effectiveness. Works individually and within a team in the areas of client relationship building and advocacy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Own direct revenue responsibility of $12.5m+.
  • Manage individual utilization target of 25% and support overall team utilization goals.
What you'll bring
  • 10+ years of leadership experience within consulting focused in the financial technology sector, including financial institutions and fintech startups.
  • Creative solutions to the most complex challenges affecting fintech clients.
  • Northern California based network within fintech
  • Understanding of traditional Front, Middle and Back-office processes, tech, and operations
  • Prior experience collaborating with some strategic partners including AWS, Salesforce, Snowflake, Databricks, Google to develop client solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering high impact consulting services, including scoping, staffing and executing work, previous P&L, and direct revenue responsibilities, and thought leadership.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate for outcomes with peers and leaders outside of your direct reporting line.
  • Adaptability of skills - continuing to learn and grow according to market and industry needs.
  • Domain expertise outside of industry.
  • Consistent track record of client and employee satisfaction.
  • Experience building, developing and leading teams, building community, and mentoring other account leaders/client partners.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to fintech.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $225,000-359,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
