About the Position
We are currently seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our growing Professional Design Services team. Note this role can be worked out of any of our offices on a hybrid work schedule, or potentially remote. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of related microgrid experience including design and contract administration. Project experience should include examples of related work which may include on site power generation and storage. Experience with photovoltaic and battery storage systems required and wind power generation a plus. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team of engineers to manage and design energy resiliency and microgrid projects for the company. Please note that a PE license is required for this position.
Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in microgrid design
- Familiarity with building design, construction, and commissioning processes
- Basic understanding of certification processes for the latest sustainable building rating systems - LEED, Net Zero Energy Status, etc.
- Basic understanding of global sustainable issues as well as current best practices in sustainable building design and technologies
- PE License is required
- Proficient with relevant software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SKM Powertools (or electrical modeling software equivalent)
- Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work.

Additional Information Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Senior Electrical Engineer with a salary range of $117,400.00 - $189,500.00 .
