This position will be a key member of the on-site finance team and financial business partner at the plant. In addition to analyzing & interpreting financial performance, this position will assist the Plant Controller and will be directly involved with the creation, validation, analysis, and communication of financial and operational data relating to cost improvements, CB-2 preparation, and the capital processes.

Job Summary
The Senior Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting financial planning processes across the organization. This includes but not limited to, developing reports on actual vs budgeted results, analyzing trends in sales and profitability, preparing forecasts, and providing insights into business performance. The analyst will also be involved in special projects such as acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop monthly management reporting including variance analysis of actual versus budgeted/forecasted results, cash flow projections, headcount, and other ad hoc requests
  • Support annual budgets and quarterly forecasts by working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Prepare presentations for senior leadership on financial results and key operational metrics
  • Participate in meetings and provide input on various financial matters
  • Collaborate with finance team members on other special projects such as internal controls compliance, audits, and process improvements
  • Assist with ad hoc analytical needs across all functions within BDI
  • Work with external accountants during tax filings and statutory audits


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related, Business/Financial field required; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant Accounting, Financial experience
  • Experience with SAP, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and Hyperion Essbase software
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • High attention to detail
