Job Description

Position Summary

The role drafts, reviews, and modifies agreements such as customer agreements and related Medical Device Product Sales, technology, services, supply, consulting, confidentiality agreements. The role involves frequent contact with business personnel to gather information, clarify objectives, and assess compliance with legal and corporate policies. It requires excellent writing and other communication skills, and a high level of responsiveness to business personnel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Draft contracts and other written documents
• Assist with and support contract negotiations
• Ensure contract terms are consistent with ICU Medical policies and with legal and regulatory advice
• Act as liaison to business personnel, responding to routine questions and, where necessary, seeking feedback from additional resources needed to respond to questions
• Work closely with business functions to understand their needs and streamline legal processes
• Provide training and education to business clients on ICU Medical's agreement processes

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required
• Paralegal Certificate
• 10+ years of Paralegal experience required
• Medical device industry experience
• Contracts Experience
• Experience working directly with business clients
• In-house law department experience
• Experience drafting, reviewing, modifying and negotiating a wide variety of agreement types
• Experience with web based systems

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age

Travel Requirements

• Typically requires travel 5-20% of the time

This role is based remotely; the incumbent may be remote in any state other than Colorado; California; Connecticut; Montana, Maine or New York.
