RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst in Denver, CO.General Description of the Engagement:We are recruiting for a Senior Systems Analyst (SA) who also possesses practical knowledge in business analysis and a demonstrated ability to successfully combine both occupations (SA and BA). This SA will support the Utility Billing applications (i.e., Zuora), Combined Utility Billing project, and the ACTIVE Network ECS1 payment system.The Senior Systems Analyst will primarily be responsible for maintaining and grooming the product backlog, small project, enhancements, and bug fixes. They will perform requirements gathering (business and technical), documentation, verification, and refinement of new requirements as well as pre-existing requirements. This SA may be asked to support User Acceptance Testing when needed. The SA will report directly to the Application Analysis Manager but will receive day to day direction from a Product Administrator or a Project Manager.Engagement Start Date & Duration, Weekly Hours, Work Location:- The desired start date is immediate, and the engagement will be 40 hours per week, reporting to the Applications Analysis manager; The duration of the engagement is expected to be through the end of the year with a potential to extend
- The start date, billing rate, and engagement details will be formally specified in a task order issued under the terms of the vendor's On-Call contract with CCD
- Write user stories with the 3W (the who, the what, and the why) format as well as document Acceptance Criteria using the Azure DevOps tool)
- Partner with multiple agencies to understand known and needed business processes, system requirements, and integration requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum three years of current, professional experience analyzing and improving applications which should include at least two years of experience performing lead-level work for multi-sized projects
- Experience with Payment, Billing, and/or Accounts Receivable systems
- Ability to work on multiple project or system simultaneously
- Experience with workflow analysis, integrations/APIs, and overall ERP System design
- Experience with writing user stories in the 3W (the who, the what, and the why) format
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (TFS/VSTS) or other Lifecycle management tools such as JIRA
- Ability to gather, refine, and validate complex business requirements, interdependencies, potential risks, and issues
- Experience with writing user stories/requirements
- Experience with data mapping activities
- Experience with creating and maintaining flow diagrams using Lucid Charts and/or Microsoft Visio
- Experience managing process analysis and improvement activities which impact multiple teams/departments
- Experience identifying, recommending, and delivering recommendations which improve enterprise-wide systems
- Excellent team collaboration, delivering results with peers, customers, and vendors
- Experience with minor production support resolving incidents
- Experience working with Scaled Agile
- Experience in the public sector, at the municipal/county level
- Experience ServiceNow
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
