The Office of Sexual Violence Prevention and Victim Advocacy is proud to be a department within the Office of Student Life. Our team provides support to students who are impacted by sexual violence and misconduct, dating/domestic violence, and stalking. Job Summary

The Sexual Health Education Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and providing sexual health workshops and programs to undergraduate and graduate students across campus. This role involves collaborating with staff in the Office of Sexual Violence Prevention and Victim Advocacy and the Office of Student Life to deliver campus-wide educational programs and in-person workshops. The coordinator will work with various departments, including fraternities and sororities, academic departments, residence halls, and cultural centers, to ensure comprehensive outreach and engagement.

Department-Specific Responsibilities

  • Develops, provides, and facilitates sexual health programs.
  • Assists with the coordination and implementation of campus-wide initiatives such as materials and campaigns, Sexual Assault Awareness Month activities, and Domestic Violence Awareness Month activities.
  • Conducts research, data collection efforts, and grant proposals related to sexual and reproductive health.
  • Participates in committee work where appropriate.
  • Develops relationships and collaborate with campus partners to enhance sexual health efforts.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of programs, materials, and outreach events for the Office of Sexual Violence Prevention and Victim Advocacy.
General Responsibilities
  • Creates and manages a comprehensive and strategic approach to digital marketing and awareness campaigns.
  • Creates a comprehensive social media strategy and maintains unit social media and online presence.
  • Creates and leads campaigns that include awareness and outreach events.
  • Sets marketing performance metrics and evaluates goal achievement.
  • Supports the administrative priorities of the office.

EDUCATION

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in mental health, social work, student affairs, health education, or related field
Preferred
  • Master's degree in mental health, social work, student affairs, health education, or related field
WORK EXPERIENCE

Required
  • 1 year of demonstrated experience providing leadership and managing health-related programs and services in a higher education setting or a large-scale equivalent

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with web-based platforms and data collection tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Mach forms)
  • Ability to analyze and report data collected from web forms

Working Conditions / Demands

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

$46,350 annually

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with some evening and weekend hours required
