RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer in San Francisco, CA.Team Overview:This team is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineering professional to support content systems production operations on the eCommerce Support team as an engineer who solves problems at root cause.Your primary focus will be on the resilience, operability, stability, and scalability of the family of brands' content tools and to ensure that the AEM tools maintain optimal availability for our users. You will collaborate with Engineering, Release and Ecommerce teams to monitor, detect, and investigate tools as well as system engineering related activities, as well to deliver features, and facilitate more efficient software business process.Duties/Day to Day Overview
  • Application Support
  • System Engineering - ability to action deployments, patches, updates and upgrades
  • Production Support - Prioritization and troubleshooting of real-time production issues throughout the day


REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.S. degree in CS or 4+ years of application development experience in a professional setting
  • 5-6 years of experience supporting production services
  • Strong troubleshooting skills utilizing log analysis, application performance management (APM), real user monitoring (RUM), developer tools, and local sandbox testing
  • Strong knowledge on AEM technologies like WCM, ECM and EDAM tools
  • Strong knowledge on system engineering or DevOps skills to install and triage AEM deployments/installs in Linus OS
  • Experience providing hands-on monitoring as well as authoring monitoring and alerting using multiple toolsets
  • History of identifying and designing automation to eliminate repetitive tasks
  • Exemplary practice of documenting findings, providing evidence
  • Experience writing standard operating procedures and rigorous adherence to same
  • Demonstrable history of production operations issue management and response
  • Collaborate with internal support and engineering teams and 3rd party vendors on problems and solutions
  • Strong organizational skillset and ability to track multiple issues to resolution
  • Ability to lead a technical team of peers toward issue resolution
  • Experience utilizing issue/workflow ticket tracking systems
  • History of acting as a subject matter expert and training peers and stakeholders
  • Track record of success writing English for a business audience
  • Self-motivated and collaborative
Additional Qualifications:
  • E-commerce industry experience is a plus
  • ESRE/SRE experience is a plus


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
