Responsibilities:

• Provide technical consultation and support in developing computer applications and programs.
• Analyze business requirements, design, and write technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions.
• Develop original and/or complex code or provide coding guidance to less experienced staff.
• Lead and/or perform analysis efforts.
• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.
• Contribute to large-scale planning of test strategies.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments.
• Review moderately complex technical challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new client needs while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.
• Verify program logic with good quality test data, unit testing, and debugging of programs.
• Participate in overall systems testing and help in the migration of applications to production.
• Assist with new documentation, participate in the development of department technical procedures and user guides.
• Resolve escalated issues and/or complex production, application, or system problems.
• Ensure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for the supported area and oversee updating and testing of the business continuation plan.
• Design, code, and manage configuration of Actimize Case Manager applications, including unit testing and peer reviews of custom solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 2+ years of experience using NICE Actimize Case Management solution development (ActOne / RCM).
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with ActOne/RCM Java plugin development.
• 4+ years of SQL experience.
• 2+ years of experience writing code in Java applications and knowledge of the Java memory model.
• 2+ years of experience in 12-factor and Cloud Native patterns.
• 1+ years of cloud experience (e.g., AWS, Azure, PCF).
• 2+ years of experience with Test Frameworks, Capabilities & Tools (e.g., Junit, TestNG, Selenium, Test Driven Development (TDD), Behavioral Driven Development (BDD): Cucumber/Gherkin).
• 2+ years of enterprise experience with CI/CD implementation, configuration management, and orchestration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, GitHub Actions).
• 2+ years of experience with database platforms (e.g., Mongo, Oracle DB, SQL Server).
• 2+ years of experience in Kafka.
• 2+ years working in an Agile environment.

• Ability to translate complex technical needs into straightforward requests for information and collaboration, working with a wide range of people.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical background.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Ability to interface with line of business (Product Owner) and technical staff.

Additional Notes:

• This is a net new position.
• Part of a pilot program.
• Full team strength will be 7 people, all based in Summit.
• Actimize Case Manager is used for client Financial Crime investigations.
• Will be part of the L1 delivery team, responsible for end-to-end delivery, including build, scan, deploy, agile cycle of 2-week sprints, unit testing, planning exercises, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
• Will work under a Lead Engineer and with a Product Owner to direct on user stories, business requirements, and storyboarding.
