The Sr. Analyst Materials and Planning, Finished Goods for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for developing and maintaining finished goods schedules to ensure timely delivery.

This position is part of the Hardware Materials and Planning Team located in Chaska, MN and will be on-site fulltime. This role requires some flexibility with start/end time due to periodic global calls/meetings. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Materials and Planning Team and report to the Manager of Materials and Planning for Hardware and will be responsible for coordinating with procurement to ensure the timely availability of items needed for the delivery of finished goods. This role will also assist in analyzing and determining production requirements based on sales forecasts and customer orders, monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient inventory is available to meet customer demand. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with production and warehouse staff to ensure smooth flow of operations.
  • Offer recommendations to improve customer satisfaction and participate in forecast calls proposing corrective action where necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth and timely execution of the NPI process as part of the product review.
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships and effective communication channels to facilitate coordination and alignment between sales, global demand planning, operations, finance, and other relevant stakeholders including generating reports as needed.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' experience or Master's degree with 3+ years' experience with in-depth knowledge and experience in material planning, supplier management, sales and operations planning, demand forecasting.
  • Proven strong analytical skill including Excel, preferably Oracle, and agility with learning new software tools and applying new perspective using existing solutions.
  • Experience interfacing with global team members including internal/external customers and confidence working independently with minimal guidance.
  • Demonstrated skills using/developing best practices and driving continuous improvement with knowledge of internal/external business issues to improve products or services.
