Description: Our client is currently seeking a Sr Business Analyst, Credit Risk Analyst

**Must have Big Bank experience**

**Python scripting required **

***SAS and SQL need to be a 10/10, FISERV experience is highly preferred***

***Responsible for transferring large volume of data in and out of the FISERV sandbox, currently the FISERV data and client data are not able to speak to each other, this person will be responsible for ensuring the data matches up by utilizing SAS and SQL.***

***This person will need to have a deep understanding of Banking Credit Risk, credit risk strategy, the credit approval process and they why behind who is approved, etc***

***Snowflake experience is a huge plus***

Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Credit Risk Management team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the First Line of Defense, specifically within the Bank Credit Risk domain. The Credit Risk Management team oversees various financial products, including secured loans, credit cards, loan origination, and card management.

Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis and Qualification: Utilize advanced analytical skills to qualify and analyze data relevant to credit risk within the Experian Analytical Sandbox.

• Credit Risk Oversight: Work collaboratively within the First Line of Defense to oversee and manage credit risk associated with secured loans, credit cards, loan origination, and card management.

• Strategic Insights: Apply industry-leading practices and critical thinking to derive strategic insights from data analyses, contributing to the development and improvement of credit risk strategies.

• Reporting and Presentation: Develop and present comprehensive risk and financial reports to senior management, providing clear insights into existing and emerging risks.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders to guide and facilitate the implementation of credit risk strategies and key initiatives.

• Mentorship and Leadership: Provide thought leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members, acting as a subject matter expert in data analytics and credit risk management.

• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including manuals for Experian Analytical Sandbox usage, process flow documentation, and SAS coding practices.

• SAS Coding: Utilize advanced SAS coding skills to manipulate, analyze, and interpret trade line data within the context of credit risk management.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in an analytical field or work focused on leading analytical projects, with a strong emphasis on bank credit risk data.

• 2+ years proven experience in qualifying and inputting data into Experian's Analytical Sandbox.

• 4+ years experience of banking regulations, risk, and compliance.

• 8+ years experience in data analysis tools such as SQL, SAS, or other business intelligence applications.

• 4+ years with Python scripting

• 2+ years snowflake, high preferred

• 4+ years of experience with federal laws, rules, and regulations related to credit risk management.

• 2+ years experience in creating technical documentation and manuals for Experian Analytical Sandbox.

• 2+ years of Trade Line data experience (data typically referenced is summarized data)

• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

What Sets You Apart:

• 4+ years of experience with consumer credit risk analytics, specifically within secured loans and credit card portfolios.

• Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging Experian's Analytical Sandbox for credit risk analysis.

• Experience in designing and implementing credit risk strategies for various financial products.

• Previous exposure to loan origination and card management processes.
