Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic leader to join our team as the Senior Director of Portfolio Management. This role is responsible for the portfolio planning, financial modeling, and execution of Ontada's technology portfolio. The Senior Director will play a pivotal role in transforming the fight against cancer and improving the lives of patients.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports to the Technology Leader and will drive technology financial and vendor management, project management, portfolio planning, and business operations. The role also supports enterprise-wide special initiatives and builds relationships with stakeholders, especially Life Science partners (Commercial, Research, Tech Product, Engineering, and QA).
Core Responsibilities:
- Translate organizational vision and strategy into actionable plans
- Lead and direct Agile planning and execution teams to deliver project deliverables on time
- Partner with Finance to ensure project financial reporting and forecasting align with organizational budgets
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring delivery leadership representation
- Facilitate PMO negotiations across functions to resolve project conflicts and competing priorities
- Influence executive leadership to align around portfolio business objectives and measurable benefits
- Review and improve Agile and project management processes, communicating changes to senior leadership
- Drive financial discipline and industry best practices for demand and capacity management
- Manage relationships with strategic vendors, negotiate pricing, and drive performance metrics

Minimum Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience
- 13+ years of professional experience
- 6+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills.
Critical Skills
- 10+ years of experience in technology, strategic planning, and business planning
- 10+ years of experience leading a project management office
- 7+ years of experience working in Agile Methodologies
- 7+ years of experience as a project manager and/or program manager
- 7+ years of experience as a people leader
- 5+ years of experience with change management and technology executive reporting
- 5+ years of experience with forecast/budgeting
- Experience in agile Product Management and Product delivery
- Healthcare environment experience is a plus
- Life Science experience is preferred
- Vendor management experience is beneficial.
