Manages quality processes and frameworks Typically performs one or more of the following in capacity of either an individual contributor (as directed and/or independently), or as a manager:
• Manages Quality process and framework
• Drives improvement to effectiveness and efficiency of the Quality System
• Reduces waste (ConQ) through improvement in execution of the Quality processes
• Protects the customer from manufacturing perturbations
• Drives effective and efficient execution of Quality processes in the fab
• Drives structured problem solving and continual improvement actions to reduce Fab ConQ through Quality System Processes (PCRB, iCAR, FMEA, SPC)
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
• Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed

Position Summary

This position has responsibility for GLOBALFOUNDRIES' manufacturing Quality processes reporting directly to the VP of Quality. The role includes close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to meet our Quality requirements.

Specific Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

• Develop and implement the quality strategy and objectives for the manufacturing Quality organization.

• Manage and monitor the quality performance of the manufacturing sites, including audits, certifications, customer feedback, and continuous improvement.

• Lead and support the resolution of quality issues and customer complaints.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulations; ISO9001, IATF16949, and AS9100D.

• Drive the culture of quality and excellence across the manufacturing organization.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to quality teams and managers.

• Collaborate with other functions, such as engineering, product development, supply chain, and sales to ensure alignment and integration of quality goals and initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing quality systems, engineering, process development, integration, or yield

• 8 years of managerial experience

• Demonstrated excellent analytical skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• A broad knowledge of Fab processes and equipment along with Quality Management System (QMS) experience including knowledge of quality standards.

• Proven track record of leading and managing quality teams and projects.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization, particularly in a global environment and experience in working with external stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

Desired Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or Science or a relevant technical discipline

• Relevant experience across a broad spectrum of industries including automotive, aerospace and defense, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.

• Experience in driving multifunctional groups in achieving goals and KPIs.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Expected Salary Range
$185,000.00 - $322,200.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
