Baer is looking Sr. Functional GL Lead for a 9+ month project located in Tampa, FL or Dallas, TX.

Overview:

Our client is currently in the 2nd phase of the world's largest deployment of SAP Public Cloud covering all North America based operations. The solution will replace a network of complex homegrown and SAP legacy system architecture across OTC, FIN and P2P process domains.

Description:

• Oversee and manage General Ledger accounting, including the Finance Organizational Structure, Ledgers, Chart of Accounts, GL Accounts, and Profit & Cost Centers.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and test development objects, specifically interfaces to S/4 General Ledger. Ensure thorough documentation and support throughout the development lifecycle.
• Lead the design and build of General Ledger workflows, ensuring alignment with business processes and compliance with financial regulations.
• Leverage knowledge of S/4HANA Public Cloud to drive best practices in financial management and reporting.
• Acquire the S/4HANA Cloud Finance Implementation (C_S4CFI) certification within the first three weeks of employment, with support for certification costs available (self-funded or Baer-funded). Begin certification process concurrently with background check and onboarding.

Requirements:

• Experience in SAP Finance, with a focus on General Ledger Accounting.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing financial solutions in S/4HANA environments.
• Certified in S/4HANA Cloud Finance Implementation (C_S4CFI) or commitment to obtaining certification upon hiring.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and compliance requirements.
• Experience with SAP development lifecycle and interfaces related to General Ledger.

Professional Services Industry experience required
Must obtain a SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition - Professional Services C_S4CPS_2308 or already have
S/4HANA Cloud Finance Implementation C_S4CFI Certification.
