The Sr Quality Data Analyst is a key member of the Dispensing Service Quality Team and is responsible for developing and maintaining data streams that are used to measure post market quality signals. This position is to improve Data Analysis and process capability to the organization. This position will work with data streams to solidify data into actionable information.

Duties include:

Developing and maintaining tools in the various systems that the business uses to measure post market quality. These systems include:

  • Microsoft SQL Server, Azure and/or AWS and knowledge of basic machine learning algorithms.
  • Languages: SQL (excellent) and Python (basic).
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track complaints, service records, device performance and other key metrics (Quicksight, Power BI and/or Tableau).
  • Monitor and improve data pipelines.
  • Provide guidance to the business regarding potential projects to improve the Quality of Dispensing products.
  • Improving compliance through complaint and service signal tracking
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Works together with Quality Engineers to improve signal integrity of post market quality systems.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, CSA, etc.).
  • Active participant in the development of product requirements, product system hazard analysis and design reviews.
  • Proactively engage partners to drive consensus and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts, through facilitating, leading, and collaborating with cross functional teams.

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of quality engineering policies, principles and best practices
  • Strong analytical mindset, data driven focus.
  • Ability to convert data into actions.
  • Explain results of data analysis to different target audiences in a clear, precise and simple manner.
  • Knowledge of programming languages used to analyze post market signal (Python, SQL)
  • Identify risks and proactively work with the program team to document risks and help to develop and ensure mitigation plans are in place
  • Apply Quality Engineering tools (Sampling Plans, Root Cause Analysis, Statistics, etc...)
  • Applies knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations
  • Works independently with minimal guidance
  • Usually determines own work priorities


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant degree field (engineering) and minimum 3 years' experience with emphasis on data analysis in a software or hardware environment.
  • Experience with med device/pharma required.
  • Experience with SQL is mandatory. Some basic Python knowledge is required.
  • Experience with dashboard creation and maintaining in AWS Quicksight, Tableau or Power BI is required.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud environments (AWS or Azure), we use AWS but the level of knowledge required is transferable.
  • Ability to groom projects end to end to ensure a pragmatic approach towards design.
  • Basic understanding of Machine Learning algorithms to accelerate business use cases.
  • Experience in risk management and quality by design is preferred.
  • Attentiveness to details with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work proactively and independently
  • Ability to multi-task and efficient in time management
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and other desktop/general business systems
