Staff Accountant

Our recruiting firm is partnering with a Financial Services company headquartered in Delray Beach, to find them a Staff Accountant. This organization has great benefits and offers a fun work environment that includes paid volunteer hours, weekly catered lunches and hybrid office schedule after 90 days.

This is a direct hire opportunity. The target salary is $85k.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily and monthly journal entries
• Handle prepaid expenses, AP, fixed assets and accruals
• Process payroll including commissions and incentives
• Balance sheet reconciliations and review of financial statements
• Support month-end, year-end close and audit process

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Accounting experience
• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot) required
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Experience with ERP (Sage would be a plus)
• Commute comfortably to office in Delray Beach
