Structural Engineer - (Commercial/Buildings)

Location: Hybrid in Plymouth, MN

As a Structural Engineer at our client's dynamic firm, you will be tasked with delivering engineering excellence across a variety of commercial building projects. Your role will involve:

• Engineering Excellence: Delivering high-quality engineering services that align with industry codes and are practical in construction.
• Technical Proficiency: Utilizing advanced software and precise hand calculations to craft design solutions that are both compliant and feasible.
• Field Engagement: Conducting thorough site visits, observations, and structural evaluations, with potential travel to construction sites up to 10%.

Additional Responsibilities for Mid-Level Engineers:

• Project Leadership: Steering the creation of proposals, design documents, and project deliverables with a keen eye for detail.
• Team Coordination: Orchestrating efforts within the design team and liaising effectively with external partners.
• Detail Management: Overseeing the intricate details of project coordination from inception to completion.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Structural Engineering.
• For Entry-Level Candidates: An Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T) certification is preferred.
• For Mid-Level Candidates: A minimum of 5 years of experience (without PE licensure) or 4 years with PE licensure is preferred.
