Location: Rochelle Park, NJ (Hybrid)

Duration- Long Term contract

Job Description

Targeted Years of Experience: 5-7 years

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.

Must-Have Skills (Most Important):

• Knowledge in supporting a large-scale TIBCO MFT (Managed File Transfer) environment.
• Project management skills.
• System admin background in UNIX/Linux.
• Working knowledge of IBM mainframe systems.
• Networking skills with Firewalls.

Desired Skills:

• Windows system administration.
• NDM (Connect:Direct).

Job Duties:

• Manage a large-scale file transfer environment based on TIBCO's MFT (Managed File Transfer) product. This environment spans multiple data centers and processes 15M transfers per month.
• Work with 3rd party vendors and internal application teams to set up and troubleshoot MFT connections.
