BGIS is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to join the team the role is U.S. based.

The Talent Acquisition Manager is focused on technical recruiting in HVAC and skilled trades to identify, recruit, screen, and present strong candidates for specific business needs collaborating with hiring managers to set realistic technical requirements. The position champions continuous improvement and innovation for sourcing talent with required technical skills. The role provides guidance and mentorship to less experienced talent team members. The Talent Acquisition Manager leads others, positively exemplifying BGIS values.

Technical Recruiting Focus

  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for talent acquisition, efficiencies, and strategies.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs, job specifications, qualifications, and skills.
  • Use various media including social networks to execute acquisition strategy.
  • Identify the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.
  • Source appropriate candidates and assess qualifications through resume review, initial conversations, interviews and other forms communications.
  • Manage the selection process to ensure adherence to BGIS standards, consistency in the selection process, and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Provide coaching and training to hiring managers on utilizing the applicant tracking system, active recruiting techniques, interview processes and considerations in the selection process.
  • Maintains open communication with both candidates and managers throughout the selection process.
  • Build and maintain positive internal client relations providing value added talent services and subject matter expertise.
  • Maximize utilization of applicant tracking system including identification of automation options, leveraging key features, and capturing candidate reference data.
  • Ensure offer letters are properly formatted and include required information providing a consistent welcome message to hired individuals.
  • Review reports and key metrics including diversity, time to fill, candidate sources, and referrals to analyze and make recommendations based on metrics/data.
  • Collaborates with internal compensation subject matter expertise to ensure pay and total rewards remain competitive in the technical skills market.
BGIS Team Member Value Proposition and Branding
  • Develop and revise job postings to attract candidates with appropriate skills and experience.
  • Champion the health, safety, and environment initiatives of BGIS focused on sustainability.
  • Facilitates contacts and introductions to further BGIS presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace.
  • Scopes job fair and industry conferences for opportunities to capture technical candidates, attends event with business leaders and pro-actively follows up on strong leads.
  • Promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion in all talent acquisition activities seeking individuals with the skills and abilities to contribute and grow within the organization.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand and identify technical staffing trends and anticipated increase in talent demand.
  • Leverage a wide variety of sourcing resources managing spend to annual budget allowances.
  • Manage delivery of a successful technical college and university relations model with BGIS in technical training focus areas seeking students prior to graduation for pending job placements.
  • Further relationships with Veterans outreach organizations and programs to build communication avenues and introductions of key talented individuals to hiring managers.
  • Collaborate with BGIS marketing team for recruiting marketing materials highlighting career opportunities.
  • Build, sustain and manage relationships with 3rd party staffing agencies including headhunter/search firms, candidate research firms, technology, branding vendors and assessment providers.
  • Utilize market intelligence to deliver best-in-class practices for end-to-end recruitment process.
Management Focus
  • Own the technical recruiting function ensuring focus on delivering quality candidates within a timely basis.
  • Provide technical knowledge and learning opportunities for other talent team members.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in recruitment technology platforms.
  • Contribute to the completion of other key initiatives as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in related Technical, Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years of talent acquisition experience directly in related HVAC and skilled trade industry including specific leadership responsibilities and positions of increasing responsibility.
  • Experience with recruitment technology platforms and applicant tracking systems required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management competency with ability to balance competing priorities and meet business deadlines.
  • Ability to build and maintain key internal and external relationships through listening and making connections.
  • Innovative problem-solving capabilities to seek the best resolutions for multiple parties with divergent interests.
  • Continuous learning approach to share knowledge and best practices with others improving overall quality and expertise of the talent acquisition team.
  • Understands, champions, and follows the standardized processes of State/Federal legal compliance and OFCCP required.
  • Familiarity with emerging development and practices in technical focused talent acquisition.
  • Eye for talent and the ability to exercise quick, solid people judgment and accurate decision making required.
  • Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software, applicant tracking systems, social networking platforms and job boards.
  • Certification specific to technical recruiting or other advanced recruiting skills recognition helpful.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel regionally.
  • Provide personal transportation for meetings and job visits away from the office; reimbursed.

BGIS is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. BGIS has different pay ranges for different work locations within the United States which allows us to pay team members competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate's primary work location.

The annual range for this exempt position in the US is $100,000-120,000.

A candidate's salary offer is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, certifications, licenses, and location.
