RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME)/Architect in McLean, VA.Summary:As an Architect on our team, you will translate your customer's IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting architecture products, design specifications, statements of work, requirements, and scripts. Through your leadership, we will help transform the way our client uses technology, including cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems. - Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience with solution architecture
- Experience with AWS services
- Experience working in a technical field with a focus on software development and modernization efforts, including forward-leaning technology, such as cloud, automation platforms, enterprise data, and open-source tech stacks
- Experience with architecting high performance, high availability systems, with a focus on missions of national importance
- Experience with standing up new technical programs, working with diverse stakeholders to build buy in and drive progress
- Expertise in successfully managing challenging technical clients/counterparts who often have opposing opinions/agenda
- Knowledge of common/micro services, cloud architecture, CI/CD, API management, etc.
- Ability to strategize at a high level and assign task-level execution to drive progress against strategy
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
