Job Summary

The Technical Solutions Lead is responsible for the delivery and implementation of robust global integrations, interfaces, and APIs to support the Vertiv Digital Transformation journey in alignment with the enterprise architecture team. The Solution Technical Lead is accountable for working with the business, system integration vendors across Vertiv's digital transformation programs, tracks to understand the business requirements, design robust enterprise solution, and operate interfaces based on integrations enterprise wide. The Solution Technical lead will lead and develop an influential partnership with both business, system integration vendors to foster the middleware Oracle Integration Cloud technology stack & Data Lake in conjunction with the BRM portfolio managers of procurement & SCM, SIOP, and legal business functions. In addition, the Technical Solutions Lead and the BRM Director will work together to promote aligned strategies in each of the global business functions noted above with a clear strategy leading to yearly roadmaps supporting the required project teams during the execution, and the overseeing the delivery and implementation of integrations across the programs globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the unplanned demand process coming in from the global business functions through the Ideation and proposal phases including the RFP process with IT procurement.
  • Working closely with the BRM portfolio managers who manage the business functions on changes to the portfolio.
  • Leading the process of intake from the BRM teams through the Enterprise Architecture Gates to ensure standards and compliance.
  • Developing and maintaining process and technical end to end documentation that will support any change coming into the portfolio. Examples of additional project transformations, small design changes, and troubleshooting key support issues where changes may be required.
  • Drive the project estimation process yearly to ensure project funds and business justifications are aligned with BRM director and business leaders year over year that support the strategy and roadmap of execution that the project teams require for success transformations that hit the business justifications.
  • Lead the documentation of the 3-5-year strategies for each global business function and ensure intakes are bounced off from the strategies to move forward.
  • Works closely with enterprise architecture and middleware to delivery global integrations and APIs.
  • Lead different programs by collaborating across teams providing guidance, technical expertise, and cultural integration.
  • Responsible for evangelizing integrations, APIs, and Digital ecosystem to appropriate stakeholders including business and System Integrators.
  • Lower implementation cost of building high quality integrations, with Dev Ops and automation as key ingredients.
  • Cultivate the strategy and processes needed to create cloud-based architecture design patterns to support robust business enablement and achieve engineering quality.
  • Lead architecture and design discussions collaborating across teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science and/or related field or related experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in the business processes related to procurement and SCM, SIOP - Demand planning, Supply planning, and Consensus planning, trade compliance, and logistics.
  • Ability to bring multiple groups and business partners together and drive the conversation, architecture, design, and decisions of key architectural conversations.
  • Excellent technical experience and knowledge on Oracle PaaS platform and its core integration components like Oracle SOA Cloud and Oracle Integration Cloud
  • Strong knowledge of the Oracle Cloud and EBS applications
  • Strong Analytical and Communication skills and collaborate with multiple teams and vendors.
  • Experience with implementation of Cloud based application and/or integration.
  • Ability to translate business needs into architecture requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply architectural disciplines to solve business problems (systems thinking).
  • Experience in modeling business and information attributes and their correlation to supporting technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Ability to estimate the financial impact of architecture alternatives.
  • Ability to develop flexible and scalable solutions to business problems.
  • Ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new and/or emerging technologies.
