Description:
The Judge Group has a new opportunity for a Technology Risk Officer. This will be for a 6-12 month contract to hire opportunity running off of a hybrid schedule in Quincy, MA (3 Days onsite).
Responsibilities:
Assessing and verifying the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls.
Completing control assessments in line with our corporate standards.
Advancing control-related initiatives, including identification, documentation, refinement, and validation.
Conducting control tests and documenting findings for management evaluation.
Supporting senior personnel in risk management and compliance endeavors.
Ensuring transparency by providing consistent updates on work progression.
Engaging with stakeholders in risk and control across various defense lines.
Staying abreast of pertinent policies, standards, and regulatory directives.
Promoting a culture of rigorous risk and control management, openness, and responsibility.

A knack for grasping new, intricate environments and technologies.
Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
A commitment to continuous learning to align skills with job demands.
Familiarity with IT frameworks like NIST, ISO, COBIT, ITIL is advantageous.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, especially in data analytics tools like Excel and Access.
Experience with IT GRC platforms such as Archer is beneficial.
Educational & Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Skills:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in IT risk, audit, or technology operations.
Professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC) are considered a plus.
