Job Summary/Basic Function
The department of Mathematics is accepting applications for Temporary, Part-time Instructors to teach introductory mathematics and statistics courses. Duties include teaching face-to-face and/or online classes days, evenings or weekends as scheduled and being available to students by holding appropriate office hours.
In addition to teaching, there is an expectation for scholarship and service commensurate with the assignment.
The purpose of this posting is to generate a pool of qualified faculty. Applications submitted will be reviewed on an as needed basis based on enrollment. Anyone meeting the qualifications may be contacted for an interview and potentially hired when a need exists. In the event that you are interviewed but not immediately hired, your application will remain in the departments pool of qualified faculty.

- Must have at least 18 graduate-level semester credit hours in mathematics and/or statistics.
- Evidence of ability to successfully teach diverse student populations.
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills.
- Evidence of a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Successful interview.
- Successful teaching demonstration for class teaching assignments.
- Successful completion of three background checks.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience teaching statistics.
- Prior college-level teaching experience.
