Job Description:

The Total Rewards Specialist Associate is responsible for the administration and management of global employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other related benefits as well as compensation work as needed. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, assisting employees with benefits-related inquiries, and working closely with vendors and service providers. The Total Rewards Specialist Associate will also play a key role in developing and communicating benefits and compensation programs to employees, ensuring they are understood and utilized effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Benefits Administration:
    • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits
    • Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations in a timely and accurate manner
    • Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate deduction and payment processing
    • Ensure accurate vendor billing and process vendor invoicing
  • Employee Support:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related questions and issues
    • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, claim resolution, and understanding their options
    • Provide guidance on benefits eligibility, coverage, and plan options
  • Compliance:
    • Assist Global Benefits Manager in ensuring compliance with all applicable global, federal, state, and local regulations, including, but not limited to COBRA, FMLA, ACA, and ERISA
    • Assist in preparation and filing required government reports and documentation
    • Assist in the preparation of benefits audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented as necessary
  • Vendor Management:
    • Assist in liaising with benefits vendors and service providers to ensure effective service delivery and resolve any issues
    • Assist in the annual benefits renewal process, including analyzing plan performance and recommending changes
  • Communication and Education:
    • Assist in the development and distribute benefits communication materials to employees, including plan summaries, enrollment guides, and newsletters
    • Conduct benefits sessions and training for new hires and existing employees
    • Assist in the coordination and participate in benefits fairs and other educational events
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare and analyze benefits data and reports to identify trends, utilization, and cost-saving opportunities
    • Monitor and report on benefits plan performance, including employee satisfaction and plan usage
  • Compensation Administration:
    • Assist with annual compensation activities including merit planning and bonus payments
    • Support the compensation team with ad hoc compensation projects as needed
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in benefits administration or a related HR role
  • Knowledge of employee benefits programs and applicable laws and regulations
  • Experience in HRIS and benefits administration systems preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, each candidate's compensation offer may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, your geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience along with the requirements of the position. Datasite reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.

Salary Range - $ 45,270 - 74,950
