Training Coordinator

Job Responsibilities:
Training Coordinator Pay Range: $18-22/hr.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Training team. This role will serve as a liaison between our training department and our gas distribution operations. The focus of this position will be the coordination of training, testing, and tracking activities for all employees who go through Operator Qualifications (OQ) annually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the list of employee OQ's within the division and monitor their progression status.
  • Assist in identifying employees for the next level of training or those in need of recertification.
  • Coordinate the transfer of OQ's for all new gas hires that have existing OQ's.
  • Facilitate communication between the Gas Training Lead and division supervisors for training and testing schedules.
  • Schedule Prometric training with testing sites throughout the state.
  • Ensure employees are listed with proper ITS role and that all tests are available on our testing platform.
  • Assist employees with password and access to Prometric or other computer-based training and testing platforms.
  • Help Supervisors with employee transcripts and other customer reporting requirements.
Job Qualifications:

Skills and Experience


Required:
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess strong scheduling and organizational skills.
  • High School Diploma, GED or higher and a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in customer service, project support or training.
Preferred:

• Prior experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Ability to quickly grasp the Gas OQ system as well as government regulations.
