Workforce Instructor Part-Time (Pooled)
Type of Position:Faculty
Responsibilities:Teach workforce students in line with your training and specialty, such as Logistics, Adobe, Information Technology, Welding, Spanish, Phlebotomy, etc.
Develop lesson plans.
Maintain a positive learning environment and diverse learning opportunities for all students.
Demonstrate the operation and maintenance of equipment as needed.
Instruct students in both didactic and hands-on format.
Supervise all students.
Maintain a safe classroom environment.
Conduct student testing.
Significant work experience in your field of expertise. Basic computer skills. Self-starter with an ability to help others understand and learn. Passion to help others succeed. Some teaching experience. Must have a valid drivers license. Must comply with established college policies and standards.
This position is security-sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of the Texas Education Code §51.215.
