We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Claims Examiner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing medical claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with insurance policies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assessing submitted claims for accuracy and completeness, identifying any missing information and ensuring all required documentation is provided.
Ensuring claims comply with insurance policies, guidelines, and regulations by verifying eligibility and coverage details.
Investigating discrepancies or issues related to claims by contacting healthcare providers, policyholders, or other relevant parties as necessary.
Making determinations on claims, including approvals, denials, or adjustments, based on thorough evaluation and established criteria.
Accurately entering claim information into databases and maintaining detailed records of claim statuses and decisions.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Knowledge of medical billing and insurance processes.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with healthcare providers and clients.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.

Salary: $21-24/hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM - Fully onsite
