RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Operations Support Project Manager in Alpharetta, GA.Roles and Responsibilities:Overall Management:
  • Ensuring smooth workflow of the Tech Support team and optimize processes for efficiency
  • Efficient follow-ups, note taking, and holding resources accountable on actions
  • Learn all the moving parts of the product and dependencies
Manage Operations Support team:
  • Collaborate with the Prof. Services and Support team to field support questions and Jira tickets from clients
Client Deployments:
  • Responsible for planning and coordinating the execution of software application deployment in multiple customer environments to ensure a smooth and efficient process
  • Coordinate scheduling and effectively manage ad-hoc project requests relating to client deployments while maintaining deployment calendar in Confluence
  • Manage multiple lines of communication responses concurrently as the liaison between the Client Services and Technology Support teams
  • Escalate deployment issues with urgency to Technology manager for prompt resolution
  • Enforced the deploy communication process and manage the shared mail inbox
Governance Change Advisory Board (CAB):
  • Collaborate with Support and Prof. Services for follow up action updates
  • Efficiently manage and request agenda items for discussion
  • Effective communication with leaders and stakeholders from all levels of the business and technology organization
  • Discuss risks and impacts of requested changes
  • Update Jira tickets to reflect discussion and status of changes requested
DevOps & Vulnerabilities Management:
  • Align project goals with objective
  • Oversee progress of the client deployment requests
  • Facilitate planning and effective communication of deployment activities
  • Ensure the deployment pipeline workflow runs smoothly in a very fast-paced environment
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Project Management Professional certification required; Cybersecurity certifications are nice to have but not required
  • 8+ years of Project Management/Operations Service Management experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with Agile - Scrum, Kanban, or LeSS framework with ability to eloquently educate resources and stakeholders on the methodology while holding everyone accountable
  • Advanced expertise with using Jira and Confluence tools
  • Communication skills, adaptability and team collaboration are crucial
  • Nimble and proactive personality for a very fast paced work environment, positive, upbeat, welcome feedback (positive or improvement)
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to identify improvement gaps and work with team to drive implementation and measure progress
  • Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail and accuracy, possess leadership, teamwork, and motivational skills
  • Capable of effectively manage and measure progress of operational tasks
  • Proactiveness - think of responsibility related items before someone tells you about it


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
